I am the happily married (going on 19 years!) mother of 3 great kids, David (14), Maddie (11), and Abby (9).   I was blessed to be a stay at home mom for 11 years.  While I was home with my kids, I began to study and practice yoga and pilates (for my sanity and the sanity of my precious babies!).  After years of personal practice, I became a certified yoga teacher.  Yoga is in my blood.  It is now such  a part of me that it influences decisions I make on a daily basis.  My yoga has transformed over the years and has kind of taken on a life of its own.   My husband dubbed me the Yogini Next Door because I’m just a regular working mom who happens to practice yoga.  I’m not a vegetarian, although I try hard to eat mostly organically.  I am not a tree -hugger, in fact, I’m a registered Republican.  I get angry, make mistakes, and sometimes yell at my kids.  However, yoga has helped me stay present and aware and take life a little less seriously.  I enjoy teaching workshops but more than anything I want to share how yoga can change your life on a day to day basis.  Please join me on this new adventure!
